If you head over to the Microsoft Connect website, you can now enroll in the VPC 2007 Beta. There's nothing to download yet unfortunately, but a posting from Ben Armstrong in the MVP newsgroups stated that downloads should be available within 24 hours if everything goes to plan.

New features include:

  • Support for hardware virtualisation technologies (such as Intel VT)
  • 64bit Host OS support (but not 64bit Guest OS support)
  • Support for Vista (and presumably Longhorn Server) has a Host or Guest OS
  • Various bugfixes and UI improvements
