As of July 2004 I work for Avanade Australia in the Infrastructure and Security (I&S) practice. Avanade is a global IT consulting and systems integrator and is a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft and specialises in enterprise application development, and infrastructure projects.

Prior to working for Avanade, I worked for the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia

I completed my M.BT (UNSW) in early 2006. I also have a B.Com (with a major in Information Systems) also from the Uni of New South Wales. I am MCSE+Security and MCDBA certified, and have been a Microsoft MVP (Windows Server) since Oct 2003.

My skills and experience range across the Windows Server platform, and include Setup/Deployment, Active Directory, SQL Server, Web Application infrastructure. I have presented at a number of Microsoft roadshows and Tech.Ed events, including Tech.Ed Boston 2006, contributed to the IIS Insider column on Microsoft TechNet, and was co-author for Securing IIS 6.0 (Syngress Press).
